Dr. Larry Gunnell
Dr. Gunnell is celebrating his 42nd year in Wichita Falls. He arrived at Sheppard AFB in June 1977, practicing in the Eye Clinic, Sheppard Regional Hospital until June 1980. He established a private practice in Wichita Falls at that time. Dr. Gunnell enjoys photography, World War 2 history, and antique cars. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Wichita Falls-North. He is also a lifetime member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Lisa
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She joined Maplewood EyeCare Center in 1980 as an Office Manager. In her spare time, she loves to garden and she is also a big history buff. Lisa is a member of Rotary Club of Wichita Falls-North
Byllie
Byllie joined Maplewood EyeCare Center in 2016 She is bilingual and works as a Technician. She grew up in Burkburnett, Texas and she is a mother of 2 beautiful children. Favorite Quote: "God never gives more than you can handle"
Brenda, CPO
A native of Southern California, with a Bachelor in Psychology from CSU Dominguez Hills; Brenda joined our office in 2002 after previously working for Linden Optometry in Pasadena. Brenda is our Office Management Expert. She works closely with frame representatives to make sure we have the very best selection of frames for each patient. She also works hard with other staff to streamline our procedures to provide you the best service possible. Brenda will always take that extra step to help you solve any situation. Outside the office, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys working with the youth in her church and community. Favorite Quote: “Let your smile change the world, but don’t let the world change our smile.”
Gloria
Gloria joined Maplewood Eyecare Center in 2021. She is our Front Desk Receptionist.
